My clients have a beautiful period farmhouse in Frittenden with a very dated garden which they asked me to redesign.
They were keen to incorporate different areas for seating and dining giving different views of the house, garden and surrounding countryside.
They love cottage planting and so I incorporated many different cottage plants along with evergreen structure, spring bulbs and trees with autumn colour to add interest over all the seasons. I have also included long double borders flanked with an avenue of crab apple trees and a herb garden on the south side of the house.
Grass areas away from the house are to be left to grow wild in the summer to encourage wildlife and mown paths will lead the way through the different areas.
The designs for this project were completed in Spring 2023 and construction will start in Autumn 2023 with photos to follow. The 3D visualisations and fly through animation give a great idea of how the garden will look once completed.
