Working closely with my clients I love to use a contemporary-traditional approach. Using contemporary elements in the design brings simplicity, flow and a tranquil softness creating a current, open space feel. I love combining this with more traditional elements to give a timeless, warm quality by using symmetry, structure and form creating a gentle sense of order to the design.

I aim to relate the garden to the spirit of the owner, the surrounding landscape, the essence of the architecture and the interior of the house. I love to work with skilled craftsmen such as blacksmiths, stonemasons and joiners, using local materials and techniques which really enhance the atmosphere of the garden.
