My clients were open with their brief and were very happy with my suggestions to create a new courtyard garden outside the kitchen and dining room. This would link with a newly designed kitchen garden and would include an existing greenhouse which we decided to refurbish into a beautiful space.
They were happy to use a traditional style to link with the house and interior with some contemporary additions and capture the beautiful views across the open countryside to the south within the design.
We agreed to use a classic English planting style with lots of evergreen structure to fit in with their existing large garden plus large swathes of beautiful perennials and bulbs to soften the areas.
